Affiiliate marketing is using other websites to send traffic to your site. You pay them a commission on either clicks or actions.

Actions can include sales, leads, free trial sign ups, e-mail newsletter sign-ups, ect.

The easiest way to incorporate this form of marketing is to utilize an affiliate manager like Commission Junction, Hydra, or LinkShare.

The best thing to do is to compare the CPA or costs per action they want to charge you for what your trying to do against Google Adwords and Yahoo Adwords.
